It’s that time of the year again when everyone heads to the malls and shops for the annual ritual of Holiday shopping. When it comes to safety, very few tips are available for personal safety information for women.
As a woman, if you are doing your shopping by yourself, here are a few items to be aware of:
· AWARENESS - Stay Alert. Be observant of your surroundings. When returning to your vehicle after shopping, look inside of the vehicle prior to getting in. Immediately lock your doors after getting into the vehicle.
· COMMON SENSE - Trust your own feelings. If a situation seems strange, get out of there. Beware of strangers asking for assistance. The person may start off friendly and then attack after your defenses are down. Attackers are on the look out for “weak prey.” Your goal is to make yourself appear to be a difficult target. So, walk with a purpose, keep your head up, and maintain eye contact.
These tips are basic personal safety information for women and are easy to keep in mind.
